Shantaa Extra Sweet: larger version of a Sweet with a living corner inside, good for 2–3 people. Shantaa Double Sweet: twin villa unit with 2 bedrooms, good for 4 people.
  • Are the rooms located directly on the beach?Beaches are dedicated as common areas. All Sweets and Villas are located on higher ground for a better view. Shantaa Sweets are nearer to the south beach; Extra Sweets and Double Sweets are near the north beach. Sweet number 5 is only 30–40 meters from the south beach. Villa number 1 is about 200 meters from the south beach but 30–40 meters from the north beach.

  • Is there an in-room safe?Yes, there is a safety deposit box in each room, size H200 x W450 x D400. Guests should keep valuables in the safe box. Shantaa will not be responsible for any loss.
  • Does Shantaa have a beach?Shantaa has 2 small beaches: a north beach and a south beach. There is also a private canal on the north side. The south edge has a community pier leading to 'Tapao' Beach, which is long and sandy. The north beach is not ideal for swimming but is great for snorkeling, relaxing, and sunbathing.

  • Where can I eat near the resort?Shantaa restaurant is among the best places to eat on Koh Kood. There are also standalone local restaurants outside, mostly serving local food. Note that many local restaurants may not accept credit cards, so have cash ready.
